Sisanda Fundaytion

The Core Fit Centre is very proud to be affiliated with the Sisanda Fundaytion.

The Sisanda FunDaytion is a non-profit organization, which works with volunteers to influence the lives of disadvantaged children in South Africa through recreation and fun. Sisanda’s vision is a world in which all children can experience the joy of being children and have the chance to laugh, run, jump and play. Through their programmes, they harness the energy of volunteers to help their children enjoy the wonders of the world they live in.

Core Fit Centre visits iKhaya le Themba (Community of Hope Day Care) situated in Imizamo Yethu (IY), Hout Bay. The Core Fit Family’s goal is to give back, interact, play, teach and love the children from grade 1 – 6 who are in need of warmth and kindness.

The Sisanda Fundaytion also heads up a Sistahood programme, where teenage girls from IY visit the Core Fit Centre to learn about health and wellness. The Core Fit family members aim to offer these girls different tools for life and expose them to what they could be capable of in their lives.

Additionally, the Core Fit Centre has an ongoing collection for sanitary pads, whereby we try gather as many as possible, to allow these girls to have access to basic health and dignity rights.

The Core Fit Centre’s main goal for the Sisanda Fundaytion is to make sure that these children and teenagers know that they are part of our Core Fit Family.
