I started pilates with Core Fit in 2015 as I was experiencing extreme muscular skeletal pains. Since starting pilates, I have built my core and body to such a point that I no longer experience any more muscular pains. The instructors take personal interest in my limits and abilities, and the studio is friendly and accommodating.
Having now been pregnant for the second time, I have attended Preggy Pilates classes at Core Fit for both pregnancies. These classes are one of the best parts of being pregnant. Robyn is an absolute superstar! Preggy Pilates not only strengthens your arms, but it releases all the aches and pains in your back. The classes have been filled with lots of laughs, amazing mamas, beautiful friendships and is overall a great workout!
I’ve been doing Pilates with Robyn for almost two years now and I love it. My strength and flexibility have improved significantly and I’m hooked on how great I feel after each class. The studio’s setting is serene and the team is pleasant to engage with. Robyn is an incredible person, she’s attentive, motivating and enthusiastic as a teacher and she genuinely cares about each person that walks through the Corefit Centre doors. Its been inspiring to see her grow the business and live her dream. Attending Pilates is more than a weekly routine for me – it keeps me balanced, connected and energised!
I stated Pilates with Robyn 3 years ago, I only do private classes with her. I had a major knee injury when I was 16 and subsequently I have developed a lot of compensation issues, and the over strengthening of certain muscles and weakening of other muscles, I was suffering from major headaches. Mostly because of having been instructed incorrectly in gyms by trainers who are just not informed and educated enough to identify problem areas. That’s where the journey started with Robyn. It didn’t take long for the headaches to stop, my shoulders stopped being rounded and pushed forward and equal strengthening on both sides of my body became apparent. My flexibility improved. My favorite thing about my classes is that Robs tailors it to me, sets me challengers that will get me focused, like getting me to a point where I can stand on the big ball unassisted. We not there yet but I am pretty good on my knees and can engage my core to stay on the ball for as long as I want to, I love balance work. The new studio is so gorgeous, it gets you excited about your workouts, it’s a very happy space to train in.
