I am currently studying for my Honours degree in Film & Television at the University of Cape Town after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Television Studies, Computer Science, and Classical Studies from UCT. If I’m not doing pilates in my free time, I’m also a visual artist, having exhibited in various galleries around Cape Town.
I began practising pilates around 5 years ago after suffering sever back and shoulder pain. That was when I discovered my passion for it. Watching a body progress, strengthen, and begin to heal is one of the many rewards of being in this field. This is one of the reasons I decided to qualify as a pilates instructor. But it’s not just about the body, I believe that it is crucial to be able to achieve a mind-body awareness in order to maximize the many benefits that come from doing pilates. Having been part of the Core Fit family for all these years has heavily influenced my outlook on life and lifestyle and I am excited to begin this new phase with them.
